Bluegrass Beverages put together an incentive program for the 8th grade A and A/B Honor Roll students. At the end of each 6 weeks these students get to leave class for a special program. For the first program, Diane Black and Debra Maggart spoke about our local government. Students had the opportunity to ask Senator Black and Representative Maggart specific questions. These included questions about the new Hope Scholarships, gun control, the power of petitions and how to submit one, and how to crack down on drugs in our community. The next program featured David Black from Aegis Labs, a company specializing in drug testing.

Bluegrass Beverages also sponsored Ellis Middle's end-of-the-year student awards.
