Portland Medical Center has formed a new partnership with Wiseman Elementary, with the partnership ceremony having taken place in June.

Potential partnership activities for the 2007-2008 school year include hospital employees reading to younger students and making presentations about health & safety to older students, collecting school supplies and clothing for students, having a canned food drive around Thanksgiving, helping out with special events such as Spring Fling, Career Day, and Field Day, and supporting the school's walk-a-thon for technology with bottles of water and a large tent for shade.
